Custom Text Typing Practice
Welcome to the Custom Text Typing Test. One of the most requested features by our users is the ability to practice typing using their own material. Whether you are studying for a specific government exam, practicing legal documents, or improving your coding speed by typing out programming syntax, this tool allows you to paste your own text and instantly turn it into a professional typing test.
How to Use Custom Text Mode
- Click the Custom button in the mode toolbar.
- A popup box will appear. Paste your text (e.g., an article, a set of difficult words, or exam paragraphs) into the text area.
- Click Start Test. Our engine will format your text and immediately start tracking your WPM and accuracy as you type.
Why Practice With Your Own Text?
Standard typing tests are great for general speed, but they often lack the specific vocabulary you need for your daily work. By practicing with custom text, you build muscle memory for the exact words, acronyms, and symbols you use most often. This is especially useful for:
